The Asratyan tapes
Here’s a playlist with an interview my PhD advisor, Ed Wasserman, conducted with Ezra Asratyan. Asratyan was one of Pavlov’s most prolific students, and a fellow believer in bidirectional associations (the formation of B>A associations after training A>B associations). It is quite the historical capsule.
These are three tapes, each with two sides. I’ve uploaded them to youtube, and there are subtitles available. Enjoy: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVSGb1gbZk5Y&si=c-Q2-HH3nlSx8P7a
Ed got a transcription done at the time, but the secretary this time was whisper from OpenAI. Quite an amazing tool.
